Description:
Casual Pub with Music and Late Bar.
Review:
Ron Blacks name was and still is synonomous with having the smallest pub in Dublin aka Ron Blacks, The Dawson Lounge. Now, with the opening of this pub, will this forever change? This 'big' Ron Black's is situated a bit up the street from the 'little' Ron Blacks and no two pubs with the same name could be more different. The 'big' Ron Blacks is quite simply huge - probably one of the biggest pubs in Dublin. Upon enerting you can go right into the bar or upstairs into the lounge. Both are equally interesting with a good laidback, chit chat atmosphere. The pub stretches on for (seemingly miles) and you are pretty much guaranteed a seat until after nine when it does be packed and queues start to form outside. The barstaff are friendly and the service swift but the pints are a tad expensive. All in all, if you're out with friends and want somewhere airy, spacious and relaxed (and don't mind spending a few quid), this pub would suit you down to the ground.
On another note, we were passing by the other day and it had two tables and four seats outside it presumably for smokers only as I cannot imagine anyone else wanting to sit there.

Public Reviews:
- This is the type of place where the confused tourist would walk into expecting the smallest pub in dublin and find that in fact its huge. The real "Ron Blacks" is further up the street. This place is open at 4pm till late and is expensive but worth it. Nice interior, good staff, but avoid the front section. Still prefer the Real Ron Blacks.

- Great looking pub with good food and nice visuals. Very busy on thurs-sat. Professional crowd but more lively than most "after work" bars. Has complimemtary Wi-Fi, which is great. lots of suits, but this is made up for by the cute girls.
