Description:
Casual w/ Live Music.
Review:
Grumpy McClaffertys is the more traditional of the two pubs found in the Plaza Hotel, the other bar being O-Bar. With it's old-time wooden interior, Grumpys invokes memories of 'auld' Ireland with both it's layout and memrobilia laden walls and shelves. This is the type of pub to sit back and relax in comfort with friends and enjoy a few pints and conversation. The pints taste nice and are keenly priced while the service is excellent by the friendly barstaff and lounge people. Recommended at any time of the week - it also has a live band on Sunday afternoons.

Public Reviews:
- This is a great spot good food, Good beer, Great to watch a match and a Good spot to go at the weekednd, Piano man on Friday night and a good Dj Saturday night plays everything and some great 90's tunes. As well as that there's great drink promos !!

- Grumpy's is the more laid back of the Plaza bars. Recently taken over by new management, they have now started serving carvery dinners at the weekends and the food is of the same standard as the hotel (excellent!) Brilliant for an all day session, watching the match, or a few pints before heading into Obar, which opens at 9.30pm. Staff are quick most of the time and friendly all of the time and the whole place including the toilets is always spotless.
