Description:
Casual.
Review: Wrights is situated in Swords and while it is a good bit out from the city centre it is well worth a visit. After heading down with some friends on a Friday night, a very enjoyable evening was had here. First off the doormen were courteous and welcoming, always a good sign. Once inside the bar is in the centre of the spacious room with a ground level (mainly for sitting down and socialising) and a lower level (seemingly for dancing and flirting) The atmosphere was good helped along by the latest chart sounds and all the beautiful people found here. The service was good although the pints were a little on the expensive side and it was disappointing to note that the price did increase as the night went on. They tasted fine though. Last orders was called at 1.30 and the dancing continued on'til about 2. The only minor problem with the place is that there appeared to be only the one men's toilet and being situated on the lower level made it all the more difficult to get to. All said, Wrights is a good spot for a night out with friends or to make new friends.

Public Reviews:
- What a place. I have never seen so many good lookin women in one place, and they all seem to be single. There is a slight tosser element but thats no problem. But for any bloke lookin for a little bit of strange this is the place to be. Upstairs seems to be a more reserved crowd, but downstairs is where it all happens if you dont mind gettin your drink spilled.

- This place is full of posers, but thats the attraction. the female talent is wall to wall, and the place to be is down stairs a.k.a. the pit. saturday tends to be the best night. the bar unfortunately shuts at exactly 1:30am and finding a taxi can be a problem. but for all the lads, check it out.

- Great night at Wrights pub. Wrights is a really fun bar with lots of beautiful people who are surprisingly very friendly. I hope I will get the chance to see again Dublin's Paris Hilton twin that I met there....such a nice and beautiful person.....The bouncers were polite and nice.

- Lads give the pub a break you are all so negative ur problem is jealousy because the staff are beauts and the girls are gorgeous(that go there) I get chatted up all the time in there and I love it xx.

- In fairness they try hard here! Have good nites arranged eg for New Years, Hallow'een, (big occasions). Doormen can be a bit harsh - the "your not a regular is used alot". Bar staff do love themselves and are posers and try to put on a show to much (bit like the film COCKTAIL) when all anyone wants is a pint (NOW)! As for the pub go'ers - make your own choices - some say posers! But its half and half! But the posers DO ruin the pub as everyone in Swords who doesnt go to Wrights say its full of posers!

- Firstly the barmen are obnoxious, it is one of those bars that is supposedly "cool" to work in, So they treat you as such, like when you are at the bar to get a pint, it will be in his time, making you wait even when there are no other customers, or he will finish his conversation with his fellow bar staff before even thinking of serving you. What a sad bunch! If you are a real poser then you will like this place. They even have a VIP section (behind the bar on a higher level to look down on the rest of us mere mortals) that is full of not very important people. All that said it can be a nice place to go for a few pints or a coffee on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. And in Swords, with no nightclub, it and the Harp are the only two places that give off a nightclub feel with late pints and dancing… so beggars can't be choosers.

- Wright's in swords, come here if you need to pick up a man who will never love you as much as he loves himself, if you wanna walk around a pub all night with your drink falling over you by drunken posers well come here. It's so busy at the weekends you can barely breathe. You go out with money you come back with none! Only thing actually good is it's the only place in swords open till 2 on Tuesdays!!!

- Great place aside from the most ignorant doorman ever(tony may) who is so up his own ar*e he never does anything but annoy everyone enjoying their night. Great place to go, good craic aside from the lanky piece of Sh*te at the door. Highly recommended!

- The layout of the place is terrible, you have no dedicated dance floor so the dancing area is right in front of the bar. (Excellent location, especially if you have to carry more than two pints through the boogying crowd!!!) On top of that the staff is unfriendly, prices are way too high (Dublin City standard) and the bouncers are the most ignorant in Swords!! Having a vip area is pathetic! At the end of the day it's a place for posers.

- Wrights cafe bar is probably the coolest cafe bar around. No matter what time you go in there is something exciting going on, there is a fantastic atmosphere, cool trendy music, trendy cool and friendly staff, which seem to be up for a bit of fun with the customers. It all adds to the cool atmosphere.

- Wrights cafe bar is one of the best bars I have being in. It is the best place to pick up. I heard it advertised on the radio. I was there on its 3rd birthday. I had heard allot about it previously. It has a wild atmosphere, cool music, energetic staff and great looking women. OOOHH yea!!! A definite place to let your hair down. Prices of drink are Dublin standard and there is also a small cover charge after 12 at weekends. Other than that what a fantastic place to have fun and go home with a smile on your face…mmmhhhhhh wink wink!

- This was my forth time in Wrights, I was there last bank holiday weekend. Oh my god there was a queue a half a mile down the road. We were not long in the queue, before we entered the madness, this place is mad full of good looking men and women, you will not find a problem picking up a handsome guy or pretty woman. It was a very cheep night for all, because the barstaff were pouring free alcohol into the customers mouths all night...yea HOooo. It's great to see the staff participating and interacting with the customers. It has a relaxed atmosphere, great music and funky vibe. Thanks for a great night. Sarah D and friends.

- Hey guys! This pub is GREAAAT! If you don't like it then don't come here! I'm always here 7 nights a week and everyone knows me cause I'm a dope! Wrights is a pimp palace, me and all my "bros" hang out there every night so we don't miss a beat. Especially since I just drink blackcurrant juice like a DEADBEAT!

- Wrights is the only place I've ever been in were everyone there is just out to stand around and pose, and no one is up for a bit of craic!I tried to have a joke with one of the bouncers on the way in and he was just so serious(all up for fun me, when i go out and just couldnt have any there). Defo not goin there again!

- Wrights must be the worst late bar I've been in,north side of dublin! Its meant ta be a late bar for when all the other pubs are closed so you've somewhere ta get a late drink, but sure u'd be quicker getting a drink if u waited for the pubs ta re-open in the mornin!!!The bar staff might as well not even be workin behind the bars in there cause anytime ya go to the bar your waitin ages for a drink even if you're the only person at the bar. The barmen are too busy chatin and tryin ta look "GOOD". Oh music is a bit dry too!
