A wonderful setting along the Liffey at the Strawberry Beds between Chapelizod and Lucan. As you walk into this pub, you feel like you're entering someone's sitting room. It dates back to 1588 and only opens at about 9pm in the evening. A table quiz is held here first Wednesday of every month. €5 includes tea & sandwiches. Very unusual because the bar closes during the quiz which defeats the purpose of making money but quite entertaining. Good feel to this old style pub.
