Description:
Casual w/ Live Trad
Review:
The Temple Bar is situated in the heart of Temple Bar and is consistently one of the buzziest and liveliest pubs in Temple Bar. This place knows what a good pub it is and is not afraid to flaunt it. Musicians regularly start playing live for no reason and anyone is free to join in. Indeed, there are Trad sessions daily and at the weekends there are two sessions daily. The service is excellent and so are the pints. The beer garden in the middle is a nice touch if a little small but it provides welcome outdoor drinking on a warm summers day(what? in Ireland haha!) plus you can smoke in it. This pub is usually choc-a-bloc with a good mix of people all out to enjoy themselves and usually you will find eveyone with a smile on their face. Well recommended because this pub can be anything you want it to be.
This pub is wheelchair accessible.

- This place is fantastic craic. The bouncers are friendly and welcoming, and the ber staff are lovely and chatty. The music here is excellent, especially for tourists looking to hear traditional Irish music. Quite an expensive place to drink though, but its a definite must, even if you only venture there once!!!

- Fantastic pub. If you can handle the crowds, especially at weekends it is definately worth a look. Great Guinness, great craig.

- Visited today, 26 Sept. Guinness at E4.65. Expensive but nice pint. However, while sitting at the bar, 3 guys ordered 2 Heineken and a Bulmers. The Heineken arrived from discarded glasses under the counter while the Bulmers came fresh. Sickened me. At their prices one would expect fresh pints. Even from a health and safety viewpoint this should never happen. Thought this practice was finished, apparently not. Maybe the tourists should be informed.

- Another lively pub in Temple Bar. Surprisingly big but can get very packed. Last time I was there there was a girl on a table dancing her head off. Go girl!

- Me and my brother went in for a pint of Guinness and even when it was very busy we didn't had to wait long to be served.

- Had an amazing night out which all started in The Temple Bar. Suprisingly big with one of the best atmospheres i've ever felt in a pub and even though it was jammers in there, it didn't take too long to get a drink. The music was playing all night(good pub to have a sing-a-long in!) All in all a terrefic pub and i'll definately be going back

- The must visit pub on any trip to Dublin. Every minute is a party. People from all over, singing dancing and drinking. Gets a bit busy but that is something we expected. If you can put up with the business, you will have a fantastic time

- For smokers, the best is still the Temple Bar, with the sheltered patio where you can smoke and drink at the same time even when it's pouring rain (tested) without getting a bit wet nor (too) cold. Voila.

- A bit of everything here really, right smack bang in the entertainment area of Dublin. Good craic, dear Guinness at five euros. But has the nightlife you maybe looking for. Sing along or just listen, buy the tee shirt or other gifts in the shop next door. Go thro` to the old bar area and you can people watch up and down the Temple bar area.
