- Recent renovations have catapulted this watering hole to the premier league. Excellent,friendly staff who it appears would do anything for the customers, barmen with smiles and please and thank you's make this the finest in the south dublin area.
The modern decor(featuring paintings of stars of stage and screen)brilliant plasma placing put other pubs in the locality to shame.The lep has already started to copy with its re-decoration alas too late as the customers have left for a haven in the foothills.The step inn.
If i was wearing a hat,it would now be removed.

- I had a wonderful week in Ireland (my first time in Ireland) and the stay was made more enjoyable by the fantastic meals and superb company of the staff in the Step Inn every evening when I went there for my evening meal and Guinness. Look forward to meeting them all again next year.

- This pub has recently been renovated and it is now well worth a visit. Lovely food, good service and beer garden. Seems to suit all age groups.

- The Step Inn has an excellent range of food available from the carvery which runs from 12;30 to 3;00,then there is a bar food menu on from 3;00,a tasty early bird menu is also available from 5;00 onwards!The staff are super friendly and theres always a great atmosphere in the place.Definitley worth a visit!
