Description:
Casual Pub.
Review:
The Stags Head is situated in Dame Court which is just off Georges Street, take the first left after leaving Dame Street. It has an old style feel inside with wooden decor. It can get crowded at night and seats are very hard to come by, however, it does have a downstairs which takes a bit longer to fill up and is quite spacious. The price of a pint is reasonable for the city centre. The staff are friendly, polite and efficient. It is ideal for a night out if all you have in mind is a couple of pints with your mates and a laugh in a cosy and friendly atmosphere.
Please not also that The Stags Head does not open on Sundays.

Public Reviews:
- The name alone is worth the pint. This is real tradition. A quiet spot, but loved it.

- What can I say...this has to be my favourite pub in Dublin!!! A nice, sort of old-fashioned, original Dublin pub with decor that brings a warm feeling to the place. This would be the pub I'd frequent most. Why??? The pint of porter is one of the best you'll find in Dublin and comes at a decent price. Also the food is very good and the toasted ham and cheese sandwich is a must. The clientele varies from civil servants and students to tourists and the regulars...and of course the "blow-in's" (i.e. the yuppies who normally wouldn't set foot in the place!)

- The Stag's Head on Dame Lane is a traditional Dublin pub and may be found parallel to the south side of Dame Street, not far from the Central Bank. It's an excellent watering hole full of atmosphere and has a lovely snug should you be lucky enough to find no one in there. It is not open on Sundays.

- The Stags Head is a truly excellent pub for those that enjoy a few pints in a setting that is dedicated to chat and tall stories! It is also home to the most wonderous toasted cheese and ham sandwich, best enjoyed with a pint of the 'black stuff'. If thats not enough for you, the staff are friendly too! Toilets are clean but ridiculously dark!

- Still manages to get the punters. Another old Dublin pub. Very much a studenty type crowd but don't let that put you off. Another of those Dublin pubs that have to be seen and tested.

- This pub is a Dublin institution. An old Victorian bar a good pint of Guinness and plenty of Criac. Get in early if you want a seat. One problem with this place is that it's on the tourist map and sometimes can get a bit crowded with non-drinkers.
