Description:
Music Bar.
Review:
The Quays is situated in the heart of Temple Bar and is a great spot to enjoy a good night out in. During the day, it gets a steady stream of people in and out enjoying the pleasant and amiable atmosphere. At night the pub is transformed into a bustling, crowded and craic-filled place to be. Music does be playing over the speakers and it gets a great mix of locals and tourists alike all out to have a good time in enjoyable surroundings. All the staff in the pub are friendly from the doormen to the bar person. Service is good also and the pints taste fine but are a little bit on the expensive side but this is a small complaint giving the amount of effort put into the pubs to keep it lively and clean. This pub would be a good place to go on a night out with your friends to enjoy a laugh and share a few pints in.

- I went there for a pint of guinness, thinking I would have had an early night being by myself in dublin...I met so many amazing people and the staff was so nice I couldn't leave the place till closing time!

- 4 Scots girls at Dublin for the weekend 12 midday first day we passed by The Quays bar there was so much noise and laughter coming from it, an Irish fella actually grabbed me and hauled us in. The music was excellent live singing, lots of friendly people, can vaguely remember leaving with our shopping bags at closing time. Was our pub for the rest of the weekend, next night again live band, pub was really small but adding to buzzing atmosphere and easily accessible conversations. The quays bar can be decribed as our little Dublin. We will forever return.

- Say what you want about Temple Bar being a tourist trap, we had a blast in The Quay's. We met lots of true Dubliners. One of best memories of Ireland. Went in for a oint at 6pm and stayed until 1am. That says it all!!!

- Very lively pub, on this Saturday they had a live band in the bar area upstairs (well, two guys) who were excellent. Plus, honest truth, Bono visited and joined in with them for two songs. Unbelievable, utterly memorable - the place was on fire ! The two guys were back downstairs the following night.

- First time to Dublin and first pub to go in, and went there every night for the week! A great pub with great live entertainment with a mixture of classic Irish music and some modern to-date music, very polite and friendly staff. Looking foward to going back there in the new year!

- This pub is welcoming, warm and the hospitality is obvious. There is Irish entertainment, but not entirely consisting of old time Irish music. There is updated music and even step dancing! A real fun time and an inviting atmosphere.

- If your taking a trip through temple bar you must stop at Quays. This place rates as one of the better places a tourist might go to really get an Irish feel. Although you might not be comfortable with lack of space at times, there's always a opportunity you might strike up a conversation with a real Irish lass. Dublin's quay is truly an experience. Check it out, it's fun.

- Any weekend and this place is packed. Mostly tourists from the UK it has to be said which certainly adds to the buzz. A band upstairs provides music to get the crowd singing. A good spot to go to for a lively time, sing a few song and have a few drinks when you visit Dublin.
