- Affectionatly known as 'The Office' to many of its regulars, The Pound offers so much more than any other pub around, proper, personal service, excellent pints and excellent craic. The Pound is also the birthplace of 'The Cheeky Lawless' cocktail (Ask upstairs and you will find out whats in it!)

- Great pub! GREAT Guiness! This pub has it all! Downstairs it caters for the older crowd with great pints and lively trad sessions! Upstairs-well anyone and everyone, usually 21-30! GREAT GREAT place to watch the matches esp. the Ireland games (with the trad band on after) athmosphere is not matched anywhere else in Swords! Friendly bar staff, esp. Wayne and Vinny! Like mentioned earlier if the bar staff aint too busy they'll drop your drink down to you - when waiting on guiness usually! Top pub! 10 / 10

- If you want a real pint in a real pub in Swords then you cant get better that the bar in The Pound. It does not pretend to anything more that an honest place for a pint. Good Staff, Better Guinness. p.s. Gets a bit busy at weekends so get there early.

- I agree, what a pub! What a pint! Crackingly good bar staff, always friendly and fast, will happily drop your pint to your seat without even having to ask, lounge staff are equally as good. Friendly customers, great impromptu trad sessions downstairs in the Snug. Upstairs is great for pints and a bit of craic at the weekend, a good local crowd. Drinks are by no means overpriced (Compared to some of the other pubs in Swords) They have stopped doing food however, which is a shame as it was excellent. A 10 out of 10 rating for a good honest pub.
