- Unfortunatly the Penthouse closed in June 2006. The people of Ballymun are pleading with someone to take it over and open it back up. PLEASE open the penthouse again. We really miss the craic,the great staff and customers.

- This pub is a good laugh everyone knows everyone its better than going into town because i can just walk home from it. It has great music its very sad that its shuting down.

- I have to agree about the friendly people in this pub. It may be true that this pub is in a working class area and that it does not have a great reputation to those looking in. What it lacks in style and décor it more than makes up for with a fantastic pint and a fine group of hard working people who would do almost anything for friends and family.

- Great pub. I called in here once on my travels. Lovely people, sexy barmaids, hunky barmen and mighty craic. A real ripper of a night. Best pint in north Dublin.
