1. Situated opposite the National Basketball Arena, this beautiful Victorian style pub offers excellent food, served until 8pm everyday, which can be enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere. Offering great pints of Miller and Guinness, The Penny Black has lots of comfortable seating areas and friendly, efficient staff. A great place to have Sunday lunch.

2. The penny black, once the best pub in tallaght alas no more, its a bit of a ghost town now with alot the regulars gone, too pricy for a local, poor quality beer, food awful, young barmen unwelcoming even hostile but floor staff are excellent, very clean pub apart from the gents, 3 great tv's if only you could hear them, good secure car parking, its best point is its customers, still a great place for the crack and would not take much to make it a great pub again.
