Review:
The Old Mill (formerly Bridget Burkes) is one of the biggest pubs in Tallaght. Situated on the Old Bawn Road, this is a fine pub for a pint whether you go into the bar area or the large open space, multi-floored lounge area. The lounge area is done up really well with a centre piece bar and a top level bar ensuring good service wherever you find yourself sitting. There are also lounge guys and girls cirlcing the floor. The drink is a tad expensive but does not break the bank. This is a fine place for a night out with friends for a chat and a laugh. Occasionally, they also have live bands playing and promotional nights, which adds to any night out.

Public Reviews:

- By far the finest pub in Tallaght, best beer garden in the summer with out side bar. The best thing about the pub is the blonde singing bar woman, she's crap at pulling the pint but she will sure make you smile!!! and she's always up for a debate about football. She is the reason I drink there!

- Had a few good nights in here but more bad ones.. The drink is over priced and under quality. When you finally get served that is. On the plus side the Food is not bad at all and there's a Bookies attached

- Great pub for a few quiet drinks with friends. Music in background great but not so loud that you must shout. Staff constantly floating around serving drinks and are very friendly. Atmosphere is great with a buzz of people enjoying themselves. Great midweek, not packed, Saturday busy, but you always find a seat

- This pub serves an excellent pint of whatever you may want! Cocktails are served downstairs and you can generally get any drink you want. Not really the place to go to look for members of the opposite sex although on weekends there is a lot of single people there! The pub is always spotless and the service is great, last time I was there they had a barman who was a mirror image of Colin Farrell, when he could tear himself away from the females he served the best pint of Guinness I've ever tasted!!! One for a look!!!
