- This pub has a great atmosphere, loads of young people. Lighting can be sometimes too dark but the music is too load always even if you are sittig across the table form somebody you can never here what they are saying.
Its a great pub to go to, to get dressed up and also there are always taxis out side to take you home. Great pub for meeting old friends, as everybody around the area goes there. Well done Simon.br> Submitted by Paula, Drumcondra

- This place has the potential to be a really great bar. Ideal location, smashing food served either in the bar or in the reataurant at the back of the bar! The restaurant is dim and intimate, the food is very reasonable and so tasty, served up to you if ur lucky enough by the charismatic Francis who always remembers ur face, top service! The staff often put on a BBQ out in the beer garden on special nites, nice touch!! The toilets are spacious, well lit & spotless! However the music is brutal and the sound system is worse! If they hired a decent D.J. the place would be perfect I could & would do better myself, so when u fire that unimaginative talentless person, look no further!!

- This establishment caters for all, there does not appear to be a dress code, however depending on one's profession one has a choice of the comfortable & relaxing Lounge or the small but homely Bar. The staff are friendly Good choice of drinks whatever your fav tipple. The food is excellent. One area for improvement would be a little more light in the Lounge. Don't take my word for it, come check it out

- The Ivy House is a long established premise in Drumcondra now in its third generation. It's now newly developed premise, offers two bars, The IVY House, modern and open, with the beer garden at the back and Patrick Carthy & Sons, traditional and warm, via the laneway on the right hand side. The Mobhi Restaurant at the rear provides good cuisine for all tastes. The Ivy House has an active programme of events such as late bars Friday's & Saturday's, DJs at the weekends, art shows, out door theatre during the summer months, cocktails etc. Patrick Carthy's & Son's shows all sporting events, play's no music, just a place with a real fire that's serves pints and spirits.

- This used to be a great local pub, with regular music dj's and things like fancy dress parties at Halloween. It has now transformed itself into a poseur's lounge in Drumcondra, with moody lighting, leather sofas and expensive drinks. For some reason it always appears to be packed at the weekends and how they sell their food at those prices is a mystery.
