Review: The International is a cosy little pub situated on Wicklow Street. It is a good pub to relax in and exchage stories with the regulars. The bar is long and stretches the lenght of the pub. The pints are very good and not as expensive as other pubs in the area. Look out for commedy nights upstairs in the Comedy Zone. There's also a small bar area downstairs mostly frequented by the younger crowd. On Saturday nights, there is usually live blues music which is worth checking out. This is a good pub to start the night off in but as it closes at regular pub hours, you'll have to move on to keep the night alive.

- The International on a Monday night and sunday for the Songwriters night run by Jaqueline Tuc, a great songwriter indeed. There will be up to ten acts on each show, so go and have a fun evening, with friends and even foes alike.
- I visited the international on three occasions whilst in dublin, it's a pub with a real Irish ambience. I tried three different beers all of which I found very palatable. Good pub for a friendly, not too noisy night out.
- A must 4 everyone who visit Dublin Good Craigh in this spot.The music is fantastic and its a worm atmosphere in this place.Go in and enjoy urself like we did.Have fun and relax.Thats all
- On the corner of Saint Andrew's Street and Exchequer Street lies the wondrous International Bar. Home to many diverse characters, the upstairs venue hosts the Dublin Comedy Improv and various open mic sessions. The Bar
on the ground floor is compact yet comfortable, will become crowded quite quickly after 6pm on a week nite... Downstairs is a safe haven from all that isn't Grafton Street, similar to Bruxelles in terms of music, it remains one of the few pubs to actually host a real live juke box, the clientele can be mixed between an assortment of rockers / tourists who have just wandered in / and various randoms... The facts simply are: Downstairs - Beer, not great could be better and toilets are in the Trainspotting scheme of things, good atmosphere though... Ground Floor - Beer, better somehow, could be a
psychological difference! But I'm a rocker at heart so I prefer downstairs! Prices...Reasonable!
- Hard to classify this place. Not lively in the expected sense, but has it's own quiet, confident atmosphere. A good place for a different sort of night out or even a daring date (now there's a challenge).
- Well what can i say, this place is really badly run.Dirty tables,ashtrays,staff do not seem interested at all in customer relations. Also in my limited time there i found that alot of very young people were drinking cans undoubtedly not the legal age in this country to consume copious amounts of alcohol which is what i was observing. All in all i give this pub 3 out of 10..
- I can see why some people might go on first impressions with this pub but I used to work there(over xmas 2003)and I loved it! I would discribe the pub-quote from a newspaper article as : perfect pints in seedy elegance. It has a lot of character and the regulars are brilliant. Very entertaining! I served Ardel O'Hanlon there on xmas eve! Say hi to Alan and John Frances for me if u go!
