Review: Situated on Georges street this is perhaps Dublin's most famous bar on the gay scene. At night it doubles up as a night club and is also renowned for it's bingos on Sunday. On the Saturday night we popped in, the place was absolutely packed. After paying our €10 cover charge we headed up the stairs into the first bar on the first floor and then onto the second floor bar. Music was booming and many of the patrons were on the dancefloor giving it loads. The service was fine, the pints tasted fine but were a little expensice. All in all a good place to go with friends and party the night away, it's loud, it's brash, it's fun but be fully warned the bouncers can be strict and if you like quiet conversations on a Saturday night, head elsewhere. This pub is wheelchair accessible.

- The George is one of the best niteclubs in Dublin, it has bingo on Sunday evenings, which turns into a huge show with talent you wouldn't find on any other stage, ingenious. The price is reasonably priced as far as city clubs go, and the staff are really nice and friendly.
- The George is Irelands leading GLBT Venue, offering mixed nights Monday through to Sunday. Late Wed - Sunday. Its exceptionally friendly, the staff are excellent and the atmosphere can be amazing. Certainly worth seeing!
- A brilliant place to go for a fun-filled night out in Dublin. Very friendly bar staff, with great tunes to bop away to. An experience you'll never forget! one of the best gay venues in Ieland, the drink is reasonable, but the craic is mighty!
- The George is super. Its a place for everybody. I'm a regular and bring all my friends. The atmosphere is friendly and open. Its a great place to express yourself and have a great time. I met my partner there and we've been together for four and a half years now. Check it out!
- Great spot! One of the nicest places to go and get away from it all.... Music is great, Lads are gorgeous and staff are extremely friendly!! Great place to meet people... this is where I met my fella (*****) and I swear by it! Sojoin us for a quiet one.... you'll love it ;-)
