- Bit of an odd place. IT can be full of oul fellas, but it really should be full of young people. Type of place where no matter what you do your not going to get kicked out!! Good for a few pints before heading into town!

- As I have been drinking in this pub for well over 10yrs now I feel that I could shed some light on some previous comments.Firstly,it is true that the bar staff are exceptionaly ignorant people,in particular the manager who looks constantly constipated. It would appear that his subservient grovelling staff all want to be just like him,so have adopted his same suffocating personality. So clearly my reasons for staying so long must lie elsewhere, and indeed they do.At the back of the pub are 10 snooker tables, where we all are most nights of the week, here you find an oasis in a vast desert of so called trendy pubs,an oasis almost invisible through the dense smoke that hangs over every table..Ahh I can smell it now,the rich aroma of fine tobacco and other exotic wafts. As for the clientele, well in my opinion, you could'nt find a more down to earth group of people in all of dublin 6.Long live the 4ps.Great place to watch a match, always packed for the big ones,at least till it's over.Great pub for the lads,10 snooker tables,2dart boards,1 foosball table,3 arcade machines,2 big screens a decent pint and whatever your having yourself.

- The beer isn't bad athmos is dead during the week and they have annoying game shows and other carp on the projection television when there is no football. Bar staff are ignorant!!! They have snooker in the back which although it costs a fortune can be good fun with a few mates as long as things don't get too rough.
but overall not a great pub ok if your looking for a very very very quiet drink

- I like this bar a lot because lots of famous people are hanging out in there from Mick Fleetwood to Carl Mauldenor at least thats' what my friend Mr.Jay and I call the bar flies.
Staff are ignorant and I would cross the street if I saw some of the yokes who go in here to watch football coming towards me on the footpath. Place is filthy and the toilets would even make the governor of a Turkish prison blush with shame.
In all this is what my hell would be like if I believed in that sort of thing and any pub owner who put one of those 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire/ Quiz games in their pub should be taken out and hung in public. Not a great place at all, it stinks. The 'Nest in Tallaght is a delight compared to this dump.

- If you have seen the pub "Moes" on the famous television program "The Simpsons" you will have a rough idea of what this famous pub is like. It is dank with a capital D in here. A rat once jumped up on my seat last year (honest) so now I only drink from bottles. If you go in on Tuesday the staff may have noticed you standing at the bar by Thursday, they are very slow. The decor is nice though and I don't have too far to walk home from here.

- I went to this place with my girlfriend and a few mates. The barstaff are strange to say the least. They could do with lessons on how to deal with the public, general good manners and efficiency. This pub stinks and looks very run down. The toilets are a disgrace and in my opinion Health and Safety have not paid this place a visit since it opened. I would be ashamed to bring anyone to this pub and call it my local.

- Bar staff are very ignorant, slow and their vocabulary leaves a lot to be desired. They could do with eating a couple of pages of a dictionary. Their vocabulary seems to be limited to words that begin with F and B. I think being rude and vulgar gives them some sort of entertainment. Friday nights are definitely a no go, actually I would say any night is a no go. Out of the 5 barstaff not 1 was pleasant. They certainly didn't look or SOUND the part. I have never been to a pub and heard such vulgar language and down right rudeness. The level of hygiene here was not far behind the vulgar mouths of the Barstaff.
