Review: The Foggy Dew is a good meeting point located adjacent to Central Bank on Dame Street. It It has a very lively atmosphere with the best of alternative music playing throughout the night. The Foggy Dew has late night serving until 2 a.m., Thursday to Saturday and regular pub hours during the week. The pint is a little expensive but competitive compared to surrounding pubs. The staff are friendly and you're never left waiting long to be served. The pub becomes busy around 6 p.m. weekdays when the workers spill out from the large populated work places of the city so if it's a sit down your looking for make sure you are there early!

- For the last 7 years a group of (aging) Belfast boys have made a Pre-Christmas Dublin pilgrimage. The only constant in our itinerary is "the Foggy" for its friendly atmosphere and good pints - Cannot praise it high enough and a trip to Dublin wouldn't be the same without visiting it!
- Nice Pub. Has two entrances either side of the pub I.e. it goes right through the block, so be careful when leaving that you don't get disorientated if you enter by one and leave by the other. Has some really nice mirrors.
- Located just by the Central Bank on the Dame street side of Temple bar, the Foggy Dew is an old-fashioned pub. Attracting a broad range of punters, from indie-rock heads to some of the near-by Trinity students, this pub has a relaxed and casual manner. Through the front doors, the layout is an odd assortment of nooks and crannies. Good for both casual mid-week pinting as well as for lively weekend drinking, the pub is a cool haven in the summer and a cosy refuge in the winter. A firm favourite of mine this is an unpretentious young pub, where no matter what time of the day you can enjoy a relaxing drink.
- May be difficult to get into at the weekend. Lively and loud with lots of youngsters having a ball. Lively spot, but can get a bit too crowded which can be uncomfortable for some.
- On Sunday night, I was in The Foggy Dew and there was a great band playing cool music. There was no cover charge but pints were expensive. The service was good and the atmosphere was energetic. I'll definitely be going back.
- Travelled there three years ago, went back for more. Very busy Saturday night. Lots of people, lots of noise, not much space to move. Waited twenty minutes for a drink. Guinness good though.
- This is a pub that I always visit every time I'm in Dublin. The foggy dew is great whether it's a Wednesday afternoon or a Saturday night, no real dress code which makes for a more relaxed atmosphere! The music is diverse so not the place for the chart lovers, the Guinness is great and in recent years has started selling beers from the continent. All in all great pub, great beer and most of all great craic!!!
