Description:
Casual Pub w/ Live Music.
Review:
Formerly The Plough and now known as the Firestone this pub is situated across from the Abbey Theatre, and is a real Dublin pub. No fancy gimmickery and nothing to declare but finely poured and crisp tasting pints, The Firestone is a great place for a pint. The pints are excellent value for the city centre and the service is superb. During happy hour 5-7 daily, all pints are 3 Euro each.
The staff are very good at their job and freely chat away with customers.
This pub is a pub in which to wile the day away forgetting about the hectic schedule of day to day life.
The Firestone also offers live music on nights during the week and coupled with the pubs great atmosphere, these are not to be missed. It is a good place for a pint before or after a show in The Abbey Theatre. Recommended for a chat and a pint.
