Review:
The Duke is a cool pub to have a couple of pints in, with two floors there'e plenty of space. The crowd is generally youthful and friendly and the atmosphere is lively. Service is good, pints are not that dear. This is a good pub to include in any night out or indeed spend the whole night in.

Public Reviews:
- Very good pub just off Grafton St, so ideal for a few pints after a hard day's shopping! Prices are excellent, bar staff are highly competent and the pub itself amongst one of the most comfortable in Dublin city centre. Best time to go to The Duke is in the autumn or winter, when they have a fire roaring just inside the front door. Also a good spot to go for a few "sneaky" ones before being dragged to the more overpriced establishments on Dawson St.

- Nice bar! Nice pint! Kick off point for some of the Dublin pub crawls so try and avoid it at those times.

- Very welcoming to disabled people with lots of little hills and ramps - great fun. Good pint, good atmosphere, good price a good all round package. I also seen Mrs Doyle from Father Ted in there once.

- No nonsense pub. Somewhere to pop into after a days shopping on Grafton Street. Mixed crowd of afterworkers, students and shoppers. Also a starting point for the Dublin Literary Pub Crawl if you are in to that kind of thing. Verdict: A nice place for a quiet pint.

- Not the liveliest place in the world even at weekends - except after work on Friday. Solid, straightforward sort of pub. You talk, you drink. Great place to meet people or a date for a few quiet drinks.
