Description:
Local.
Review:
The Dragon is situated in the heart of Tallaght beside the Priory Church. While, it is very much a local pub, it is also popular with the students from IT Tallaght. The Dragon is not a big pub but has the atmosphere of one. Conversation abounds most nights of the week and it can get packed at the weekend and as a result, seats can be scarce. Service is good by either the barmen or the lounge girls (and guys). It also has a rather spacious smoking area out the back. The pints are quite cheap and taste fine. The Dragon is a good pub for a few pints and laugh with friends any night of the week.

Public Reviews:
1. This is a great place for football, whether it be a Sunday afternoon or a weeknight. Always lively with good banter, but never too packed. Full of veterans also, all of whom would have their names on their seats! Also serves great pints, with quick, efficient service.

2. The Dragon is a very weird cross between your typical student bar (two pints in front of four people!) and the 'oul fella's pub (all eyes on you as you walk in the door!).... Once you get in, get your pint (service is quick and friendly) and get a seat (trust me ...not always easy) you'll find that it's actually a really cool place to have a laugh with a few mates. The atmosphere is ALWAYS lively here.

3. I've been drinking here for over 8 years now and i've never once left the pub unhappy. The staff are friendly and approachable and interact with customers to help create an excellent atmosphere. The price of the pint is the cheapest in Tallaght and the quality is the best too. Its very much a local pub but once your inside the doors its like all friends together.
