The Coach House in Ballinteer is located in the vicinity of a small shopping
area and has the appearance of an old cottage house which has been renovated
to look elegant and stylish. Upon entering (from the side door), there is an
off-license to the left and the bar area is to the right. Continuing on, you
head into the lounge. The lounge is quite spaced but the seating is a little
bit random which gives the impression that the pub is packed even when it's not.
There is also an upstairs area which is quite small but with it's 'big flatscreen'
telly it's ideal for watching a match on - (Get there early though). The pints
taste good but they are a bit expensive. The service was fine even though it
was a busy night as we were not waiting long at the bar. The atmosphere in the
pub was laid back and casual. Overall, this pub would be ideal to meet up with
friends and have a pint in.
The coachhouse is an excellent pub, by far the sest in ballinteer/dundrum. The prices are compeditive, the staff are friendly, as are the punters.Great place for a scoop
The place is awrite 4 late drinks. You see sum funny sites from the people behind the bar mainly!!! Plenty entertainment from Ray Droolin! Thats 'bout it. Worth a look.
Nice pub with a good atmosphere. Great new plasma screens for all sporting events especially with the World Cup coming up. Beer garden has been done up aswell to suit any smokers, its a top class job. Bar and lounge staff are really friendly especially Keith and Paul two of the best barmen in the business!
Great pub to drink in, not that expensive if you look at the other ones in the area.Staff are good, few of the lads behind the bar scratch alot though!!The Girls are the most attentive. managers needs to sort themselves out though!!Very False!!!
The coach House is a nice pub.The staff are not the most polite of people and the few locals that occupy the beer garden are annoying to say the least.Apart from that, the food is lovely and with a wide selection of beers you cant go wrong.
The Coach house is a great spot for a drink. Great crowd in it every night of the week. Clean modern pub with a good beer garden for the summer
I am not a big fan of the coach house. The bar is for the older crowd but all they care about is betting on horses. The lounge is too young, full of loud drinkers.I dont find all the staff freindly-loungestaff are but management are not the best.Good beergarden outside and food is nice.Prices are ok.They sell fosters at 3euro a pint-except christmas when they hike it up to 4.90
The Coach House in Ballinteer is a great spot for a drink. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and there is a great atmosphere in the place, particularly the lounge as the crowd is younger and less ignorant!! I would recommend it to anyone as I enjoy it every time!!!
