No problems here it lived up to its name of the clock but the pints flowed in cracking time.
This pub is a sublime representation of old Dublin, full of liberty style characters sprinkled About the bar and lounge. Bar staff are friendly and are as much part Of the character of the pub as the patrons.
For the single male the lounge girls are a delight. The price of pints is extremely competitive.
Quality of the drink is high so no poison pints On the menu in this pub and the toasted ham and cheese Sandwich is a delicacy.
Beware Thursday night when this otherwise spacious Pub is inundated with what can only be described as Pimply-faced, paint covered, dungaree wearing art students.
Who are unfamiliar with basic concept of personal hygiene!
So for excitement throughout the weekend and weekdays
Excluding odorous Thursdays this is the place.
Over all a good venue for a pint.
Just had to write up a compliment about the Clock. The service is friendly, the clientele are fun and the management was kind when I was in need of help. Not a trendy, stylish scene, just a good pub. I will definitely go back there my next trip over.
Not the best of shops but considering the pubs that are around it. It's the best of a bad bunch, Friendly staff, gargle ok, *** the barman is a diamond geezer. Friendly environment for the general down and out, drop in for a hot whiskey on ***, Diamond Geezer !!!!!!!!
