- I love this place, the "lounge" serves some great steaks but for atmosphere head to "the bar", I’ve been here for a few Sunday sessions and when there is a match on there is no better place in the world, if its GAA, Rugby or soccer, the balrothery folk don’t need an excuse to take their banter to the tiny bar area where you'll meet some great North County country characters, this place has it all. Great Pints, Great Food, Great Craic 10/10

- WHAT A PLACE! from the front you see what they call the lounge, venture into what they call the front which in irish terms is called the bar, think it would need to ne weekend night, you will enter a world that would not be unlike being cast into a comedy show!!! i have never experienced such a broad array of characters - to name a few that i can remember... knocky, gerry clever, boon, a few people claiming to be famous, total comedians, anders, paddy connor wearing a guitar like a third shoe singing uncaringly like a madman too many boos and moans - unmissable, though leave your sensitivety at the doorstep there is a price - you will be intiatied with abuse, if you take it you come out the other side with something that you will never forget and will never be happy anywhere else. For full effect you need to smoke outside :)

- Amazing pub, spent many night having one or two pints with my friends and co workers. Great place for a drink and a game of pool. Lovely view of the church of to the left and is within walking distance of almost anywhere in Balrothery. Friendly faces and enjoyable atmosphere. My favorite Pub in Ireland
