Description:
Late Bar with Music.
SoSuMe is Dublin’s hottest new chill out bar. Mixed crowds, ageing from mid 20’s to mid 30’s, enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with background music, comfortable seating and quality service. The building, which was once a bank, has an open and airy feeling, with some very eye catching décor.
A fine selection of over 50 beers from around the world line the fridges, with a good choice of wine, cocktails and cigars also available from the bar. Check out the original Japanese paintings which are everywhere, they are very "unusual".
Review:
Sosume may look small from the outside but inside stretches right back and covers two floors. As you enter the pub there is a large open space with next to know seating and it's only as you get further into the pub that you realise all the seating is located along the walls some with 'booths' others high chairs and high tables. There is also a rather interesting fish tank as you enter. The bar is long and although the pub can get packed, the service is good. The pints taste fine also but be warned the price of a pint increases after 11pm. The music is a mixture of chart hits and other uplifting sounds. There is also a bar upstairs as well as balcony section. The toilets are situated downstairs, bascially at the back of the pub and can be awkward to get to if you're on the top floor. There is a cloakroom situated beside the toilets as well. Generally, Sosume attracts a youthful crowd and the atmosphere is fun filled. If you're heading for a night out with friends for a party-evening, this could just be the spot for you but if you're looking for intimate table conversations, you'll have to go elswhere. All said, a good spot.

Public Reviews:
1. Love this pub, great atmosphere , cool decor and pretty people, can be bit young sometime but so big inside, if you're early enough you will find a corner to call your own, great spot!

2. This is generally a good place to go around 11pm, usually for me it's after a.k.a. It gets a bit cramped but the atmosphere is good and bar staff are friendly. The fact that this was originally a bank, you may still find a few bankers in there but just tell them to "Go swim with the fishes!"
