Description:
Music with Late Bar.
Sinnotts is a traditional style bar which is home to a large collection of original literary pictures and prints from a collection of Irish artists and writers including James Joyce. The bar is renowned for its carvery lunch, great evening food and even better pints. Buzzing with theatre goers before all the big shows in the Gaiety theatre just opposite. For sporting fans Sinnotts is the only place to watch any big sporting event, we have two great big screens and show everything from ice hockey to rugby. During big games the atmosphere is electric while always good fun.
Music kicks in every night with a DJ who plays till late from Wednesday to Saturday. There is a dance floor area that gets very lively after 10pm. Popular with the locals, the sporting fanatics and anyone who wants a good atmosphere Irish bar.
Review:
Sinnotts is situated on South King Street and is directly under the Stephens Green Shopping Centre. It is large and spacious although it gets awkwardly packed, that is to say if all the seats are taken there is nowhere to put your pint while you stand between the central bar and the outer rim of seating. It does not look big from the outside but once you're down the stairs it opens out. The staff are friendly but the pint is rather expenisive. On the plus side it does have a large screen TV which is great for watching matches on or catching the results on a Saturday afternoon after a long day shopping.

Public Reviews:
- I loved it! Went there for a drink about two weeks ago, and while there were loads of people, it wasn't over crowded. The service can't be faulted and the drinks are reasonable. Strange location but worth a trip

- Unusual bar as it's below a shopping centre. Big square bar in middle of a big room. Good place to watch a match whether it's rugby, soccer or GAA. Sometimes difficult to get served if you stand at the wrong bit of the bar.

- Can be very lively at the weekends. Door policy can be strict. However can be a bit too packed and getting drink can be slow. Worth a visit for mixed groups. Very popular now for watching sports events as it has a large screen and several TV's. Can get just too crowded around the bar. Unless you're lucky to get a corner for your gang, you'll be shoved out of it.
