- I'm an ex-pat Sandymounter and this is my local. I went to school with the owner. As soon as I walk in, they ask me when am I going back. As soon as I order a pint, I know all the lastest gossip. As soon as I sit down, I'm in a round. Jasus, nothing changes!!

- Sandymount House is in the centre of Sandymount village and is an ideal spot to have a nice afternoon pint. The pub is full of nooks and crannys so privacy is never a problem. The staff are friendly if sometimes a little too enthusiastic. Don't let that put you off though as the pint is well priced and goes down a treat. All in all,a great place to meet friends and have chat over a few good drinks.

- A great place for an expat like me to get to know and appreciate the Irish pub culture- and a bunch of the locals as well. Well-run local- unpretentious with good food ar reasonable prices. Near Lansdowne Road- packed at match days...
