Review:
It was a Friday evening and after a couple of scoops in town, we made the decision to make our way home saving ourselves for the long Saturday we had planned to have due to the Ireland v Scotland game. So off to get the Luas we went. We got as far as the Bus Aras stop and noticed Robert Reades and upon realising we had not yet reviewed it we decided to have one for the road so we went.
There were a couple of barstools at the bar so we grabbed our seats and before we had even got to sit down, we were asked for our order. Two fine pints duly arrived and as the conversation began to develop, we forgot about the one for the road and had a few.
Robert Reades is this type of place - where you may drop into for one while waiting for a Luas and before you know it, sure youre having a grand aul time. The pints are delish and the service top quality - there is also a barfood menu which looked tasty.
All said, I guess you could say we kinda liked this pub and might just drop into it again.... well definitely.....
