Dublin 23rd Best Place to Live
A new study has shown that Dublin is the 23rd (out of 215) best place to live
based on quality of life. It is also the 18th safest city in the world way ahead
of London which comes in at 64 along with New York.
Archbishop Slams Drink Culture
The Primate of All Ireland, Archbishop Sean Brady has slammed
Ireland's drink culture claiming it is destroying an entire
generation. He said everything from sporting to religious events
(ie marriage, funerals) are being dominated by the drink culture.
He continued by saying that "Sometimes I fear we may be witnessing
a lost generation, a generation of young people who instead of
emigrating abroad are leaving the shores of moderation, responsibility
and spirituality."
