- Brilliant Pub!!
Submitted by Tom, Dublin

- O'Neills is a fantastic spot in the early evening. I have regularly spent time here while waiting for a train at Pearse Station across the road. The pub looks deceptively small from the outside, but is quite spacious inside. Decor is homely (nice wooden tables, cushioned seats, small alcoves) and ambient lightling sets the place off nicely. The most fabulous thing about this pub is the food. I highly recommend picking up an evening meal between 5.30 and 9pm any night. The pub will not be busy and the mushroom steak or Old dublin steak really are something special.(cheap too) A perfect place for a pint or two and a dinner before heading home after work. Sports are also shown on a widescreen TV in the main bar area. Service is excellent.
"This place has quite an eclectic mix of drinkers, and it's not unusual to see many Trinity students on a Thursday night, drinking away"
