Murrays is situated on Bath Avenue and though I suspect that much of the year
it is frequented by locals, it's close proximity to Lansdowne Road means it
is popular with the match crowd both before and after. We dropped in after
one such match.... The first thing to notice is the picnic tables outside which
would be ideal to use on a warm summers day. As it was, it was a cool October
evening when we got there so in we went. The bar area was a bit packed with fans
so we headed out back to the lounge which was a lot more spacious. There was a
big screen out there also ideal for sporting events. The service was grand and
the pints tasted fine but were a little on the expensive side. We sat and enjoyed
the craic for a pint before heading off. Murrays is a good solid pub and is well
worth a visit.
I was bowled over by Murray's, what a friendly and brillant pub. The staff were soooo helpful and the food could'nt get any better. I never found the drink or the food expensive, that could explain me not being able to walk in a straight line home when I wished all the staff well. You must give it a visit.
