Review: Molloys (The Foxes Covert) is situated on Main Street in Tallaght although there is also an entrance from Village Green. The pub is split into three sections, the bar, the sports bar and the back lounge. The bar is the favoured haunt of the locals where darts can be played. Molloys is a good pub with something to offer everyone. The service is good by the friendly barstaff and the pints are good value and taste fine. It also offers a lunch menu during the day as well as a selection of barfood. All in all, it's a good place for a few pints with friends in comfortable surroundings (especially the back area). Recently, the Sports Bar has been renovated and is now a top class beer garden (smoking area) with canvas coverings and seats and tables as well as the all important heaters. It also has a non-smoking area for those that don't smoke but like a pint in the 'air' so to speak. As well as all this, it has TV's to show sporting fixtures etc. All in all a good job by all concerned. Public Reviews: - This pub tends to be a haven for college students on a Friday evening. It has become the unoffical student bar for IT Tallaght. The crowd tends to be very lively in the sports bar area. The pints are generally good but the best thing is the deals on certain bottled beers. The staff are very friendly and go about their job in a professional manner. All in all a great place to go after a day of college. Submitted by Stu, Dublin - This pub is a great place to let off some steam after a hard week in college.
