- This bar is much as it would have been in the early 1900's. It is a rare change from the "designer" pubs of most of Dublin - even country areas. The staff are excellent - quick and with great memories for orders. The pint in my experience has always been good! As I write it costs 3.70 which is not outrageous. There is a sense of history about the place so much so that you feel a connection with the past as you sit there sipping your pint. (Or maybe that's the Guinness kicking in ...)

- It's a great pub, wheter its for 1 or 2 during the week or a session on a Sunday, there's always someone there to make you smile, toilets leave a little to be desired but can be overlooked. Great craic 24/7

- When you first enter this pub you may marvel at it's unique rustic look but trust me this will wear off momentarily. The seats are merely old church pews, which leave your back in a fierce state. There has been many an argument in Killians over who would sit on the stools with the bit of padding on them. The toilets stink and are rarely cleaned. The pint is changeable sometimes good, sometimes bad and at €3.35 is pricey for the surroundings it is served in. The only redeeming feature of this pub is the ever-smiling barmaid ***** who always has a cheery smile for the punters. Rating 1 out of 5
