Review:
Kilcawleys is part of the Abberly Court Hotel in Tallaght. The pub is split into two - a bar area and a lounge area. The bar area is small and compact and with it's wooden interor is the more old fashioned of the two. It is also an ideal place to watch a match as when the giant screen comes down it can be (almost) seen from every part of the bar, for those that cannot see the big screen there is a television in the top corner of the bar.
The lounge (after being recently re-furbished) is the complete opposite of the bar with it's minimalistic look and strong wines and red. This is many frequented by young local people and the atmosphere generated is as warm as it is gregarious. For such a large area, seating is quite sparse and if you're in a large group can be a bit of hassle. The pints are a little on the expensive side when compared with the local pubs in the area. The service is fine, the staff are generally good humoured and efficient and the beer goes down fine at any time.

Public Reviews:
- VERY comfortable sofas in this pub.(You could seriously move in to one ) Absolutely perfect for an all day session watching the football or rugby. Great atmosphere in the evenings or if there's a big match on! Never any trouble. Bar and lounge staff are mix of local youngsters and foreign students but all are very polite and helpful.
