Description:
Casual Pub with Music and Late Bar.
Review:
Judge Roy Beans is centrally located on the corner of Nassau Street and Grafton Street. It has a youthful feel to it and is usually full most nights of the week. The lighting is dim and the music does be blasting no doubt appealing to the party people out there. It is open regular pub hours during the week and is open late at the weekend. A pint is quite expensive in here and sometimes can be bad but the friendly, smiling bar staff will happily change it if it is not up to scratch. If it's a quiet pint you're looking for, it would not be recommended, however if it's a party atmosphere you require, look no further!

Public Reviews
- Recently taken over as part of the Porterhouse chain of pubs. Was given a much-needed refurbishment inside, doing away with the restaurant at the back and replacing it with a second bar and (much needed) additional seating. Prices are still a little steep, especially as they brew their own beers. Also the same door staff are still employed there and have been known to (frequently) go on power trips if they don't like your haircut or they got out of the wrong side of their cave that morning!! It's a place you'll either love or hate, depending on what you are looking for. If you want a quiet pint, you'll hate it... if you want a younger, louder crowd than maybe this is the place for you.

- I am very fond of Judge Roy Beans, Great atmosphere the staff are friendly and always willing to make you feel welcome, does have the disadvantages of lack in seating and no cloakroom but the vibe is excellent the music is Grade A and the food well ***** 5 star in ratings if you like the tex Mex style. All round one of my fovourite Pubs in Dublin.

- Busy place. Attracts a lot of (male) tourists and those in Dublin for the weekend. Has a DJ who belts out the latest chart hits. Just don't stand near a speaker. It reminds me of loud English theme bars which have little to attract them except lots of noise to give an impression of something happening.

- Not many seats,so expect to stand, holding coats bags etc. as No cloak room. also expect a sardine can, sweaty, hot atmosphere, lots of drink spillage.
Still there are very happy people and lots of guys watching the girls come in. Even though, everyone looks like they are having a good time, I just don't like this place.

- If you're out on the town for a night or just passing a lazy afternoon AVOID this place - its a real overpriced dump.
Very loud not much room and you have to stand while drinking. Beer is really expensive and staff are rude. The place gives the impression that their is a real buzz in here but there isn't its a dump. I really don't like this place at all.

- I've being coming up to Dublin over the last few years and no matter what, I have always gone back to JRB'S this pub has a great atmosphere and sound staff for example taking the time out to offer there opoinons on the best clubs on a monday night arf arf but in saying that the best thing about this place is the Quality of there pints and varied selection of music suits everyone and the bog is fairly clean too.

- This is a great pub to start the night and get you in the mood. Has a great atmosphere almost every night of the week due mainly to the sounds and the good lookin men! They do lovely but expensive cocktails and the food in the restaurant is delicious. The only draw back is the staff, especially the barstaff who I have often found quite rude and slow. Never the less I keep goin back... must be the cocktails!

- Not the most fabulously clean place - but who cares!! It's a pub not a bedroom!! You go in there to drink and chat to random blokes/girls, and its perfect for that! Plenty of hottys and the music is quite cool. Drink is just a normal price. Go there for good crack and cute guys/girls!!
