This is a great spot, especially now that it has been done up. it looks class. the nightclub upstairs is fantastic!! its 10 euro in, but well worth it. Plenty of space to dance, air-conditioning which is great, and the d.j is great too, plays deadly tunes each week. Id recommend hanlons to anyone, much better than spending a fortune in clubs in town where youre squashed to bits and cant move let alone dance. recommend to bring proper I.D with you if thinking of heading up, it is known to be strict. especially age cards, if they tend to look scratched etc.. drinks were reasonably priced for a nightclub, and the crowd were nice too. all in all a great spot well worth the visit! especially Saturday nights , theyre the best!!!
Used to be a lovely boozer but for some unknown reason it has been closed for the last two months. I know they are doing it up, but how much work needs to be done? The lounge upstairs is open again [for a younger crowd] but all the regulars are drinking all over Dublin 7. Hurry up Hanlons, we miss our local.
Great pints...great bar and floor staff, check out the oneman band entertainment on friday and saturday night...exactly what is expected from a good drinking pub. Avoid the food though... over priced and very poor quality...stick to the crisps and visit the chipper on the way home.
Earthy boozer. Clientele mostly from Cowtown and Cabra. The telly plays a major role here. Mostly sports. Guinness at 3.50 in the bar and very nice pint. Generally regulars but that can change, particulary on match days [Croke Park and Dalymount]. One barman runs the bar and tonight Paul was on and did an extremely good job. Not an easy crowd to please. If you want a top class pint at a reasonable rate, visit Hanlons.
This is an excellent pub. It has a very relaxed athmosphere and the staff are very friendly. The pints are very refreshing also. I recommend it highly!
Excellent pub with great food, great beer and some of the most efficient bar staff in Dublin
