Review:
Beggars Bush is situated a short distance from Mount Street, South of the Canal. Set on a picturesque road of Georgian Buildings and close to the historic Beggars Bush buildings. What drew me to this pub was the beer garden, a perfect spot for a few beers on a sunny day. Inside the pub is a lot smaller then it seems with the bar to the right and the lounge to the left. The pint is good and prices are reasonable in comparison to surrounding area. This is a pub for a few pints and good conversation.

Public Reviews:
- This is the only decent pub in the area I think that can give you a cheap pint in a relaxing atmosphere. A lot of pubs in the area are the complete opposite. If you want a great pint of stout without the need to look the part in D4 then this is the place to go.

- An honest pub with excellent pints and by far the best prices you could hope for in such a prestigious location as Dublin 4. Expect to pay about €3.10 for Guinness and €3.25 for lager. The interior is small, granted, and it is definitely a "locals" pub but there is an excellent heated & covered outdoor patio and its proximity to Landsdowne Road stadium means it can't be beaten for pre- and post-match pints

- Ryan's ("The Beggars") is a traditional style pub just off Northumberland Road. Walls are bedecked with historic pictures of the area and the furnishings are largely wooden and basic. A great pint is served at astonishingly low prices. Other than a healthy number of "after work" revellers (great outdoor seating for summer evenings), Ryan's attracts little more than a trickle of dedicated regulars, giving the pub that "undiscovered" feeling. Highly recommended.
