- Superb. I found that the Headliner was a true Irish pub in every sense of the word. Friendly and fantastic atmosphere, I highly recommend it to anyone .

- This used to be my favourite pub in Dublin but recently I have found it has gone downhill mainly due to the fact that the toilets are a disgrace. I recently spent a day in the pub and the toilets, dirty when I went in, were still dirty when I was leaving 6 hours later despite me asking the barman to do something about them. The smell that wafts from the gents toilets as you are going downstairs is also disgusting. The put itself is exactly the same with great bar staff, nice fellow drinkers and a great atmosphere. Please, please do someething about to the toilets!

- Very good pub. Pints are cheaper before 7pm €3.40(march 2006) for Guinness. The toasted sambos are delicious. Any time I've been in there has been a nice warm and welcoming feeling. Good atmosphere when Ireland are playing.

- The Headline Bar is my favourite bar in Dublin. It has a warm, friendly atmosphere which is further enhanced by the great bar staff who always make you feel welcome. It is a great place to go for any matches and great fun is had by everyone!!

- Great spot for a night out. Coming from Galway but living in Portobello for the past three years this is now my new local. The Guinness is up there with the best and the service is quality. Tom the head barman will have you in stitches laughing all night. Reasonable prices considering it's so close to the city centre.

- Good spot for a few quest drinks, prices are fine, staff are sound and friendly. Grand spot!

- If Christ could forge the bar in the rock of mount Sinai, it still would not compare with the headline!!!!!!!!!. The staff are equivalent to God's disciples and the punters are God's children!!!!!!!!!. This bar is truly a bar for the Dublin people with cheap prices, good laugh and smoky garden outside.
