- Had a great time. Stayed at local B&B and got to meet Bertie the great. Staff are fantastic, Still getting used to Irish food but tasted great. Bar manager very helpful with directions and places to see. Drunk locals in the bar a little too loud with telling off staff. But all in all agreat place to relax and have a nice pint.

- Great spot and bar staff were no problem. Good time all around. Cheers!

- Ths place is great craic, laid back atmosphere and a good smoking area. Its lively but not crazy so you can talk and have the craic. Food is lovely. Only negative thing I can say is that there is no music, although maybe I just went on the wrong nights. Especially love the snug area which is brilliant if you just want a quiet chat with your buds.

- I think that this pub is extremely friendly, the staff are 2nd to none. There was a young shaven headed barman who was very helpful and attentive. Food is great, nicest steak in dublin. also great place to watch a match.

- Really nice pub with great bar staff and wonderful pint of the black stuff!!The old bar man in the bar was a brilliant character, really helpful and funny. It made my night there. Television was bit loud though in the bar but overall great spot.

- Fagans is my local pub. I love the actual place but the bar staff are extremely rude and unhelpful. As pub grub goes, I would give it a high rating but please do something about your staff and employ people who will make it inviting to come back.

- I visited Fagans last year and found the staff to be very welcoming. I am looking forward to returning in October. The Guiness is good!!!!!!!!!

- I went here to watch a match and as stated in other reviews it was a good spot for this. The food however was horrendous - reheated chips and very soggy salad. Burger was just alright. Plus the high price really put me off. I don't know how other reviewers ranked it as a good food spot. But, that said, the pub itself is really nice.

- Decent drink apart from the Guinness, which is not good at all. Food is good and reasonably priced. Bar staff are rude and unhelpful, nice decor but as hot as a furnace on most nights, which is uncomfortable

- I thought bar staff were alright. Minute we sat down they were asking for our orders for drinks and to top it all we got talking to Bertie himself!!! Nice spot.

- Like alan, i think this is a pub that has much potential, but i have visited this pub many times even before they done it up, and have to say the barstaff, what a bunch of miserable gits! god only knows what visitors to our fair city must think, as alot of them stay in the many guest houses in this area, they must take a bad impression of the northside back to they're native land. Shame on you fagans.

- Agree with previous reviewers about the bar staff being a little stiff. Pint is good. Best steak in town, bar none.

- Great pub! Amazing after a Dubs win in Croker! Gets jammed!

- Fagans is a fantastic pub in which to relax over a quiet drink with a friend. The ambience is laid back, the staff are sound and the food menu reasonably priced. All round top drawer!

- Nice pub with greenery and brick and lots of activity. Good food and service.

- This place does decent food but the atmosphere is a little like a bingo hall waiting for the game to start. Without exception the barstaff are a crabby, unfriendly lot.

- Fagan's is a nicely decorated pub ruined by consistently sullen bar staff. The Guinness can be hit and miss, but I wouldn't recommend complaining.

- This has the potential to be a good pub but frankly the attitude of the staff stinks! They do not smile or greet you, they do not say please or thank you and you get the impression you're an unwelcome nuisance and not a paying customer.Disgracefull.

- Bar staff incredibly bad humoured and very rude...they look and act like they are very unhappy in their jobs.

- Good spot for meeting friends. If you want to watch a match over a good pint, go to the bar. Do not, however expect anything but a grunt or two from the bar staff. God only knows what impression visitors are left with after handing over their hard-earned to this sour faced lot. Badly needs a PR lesson.
