Situated on Parkgate Street on the north side of the Liffey.
It has a bar and a lounge area both offering a homely
feel. The pub itself has minimum decor save for a lot of hurling memrobilia
adorning the walls. The pints of stout are expertly poured by the
welcoming barstaff and are one of the cheapest in Dublin at €3.20.
This is fine little boozer to wile a few hours away in the company of
friends for a couple of pints and chat.
Great pub, beer and staff/owner.We stay at digs beside it every year and spend a lot of time here.Great lunches too.Pint of soup please Eamonn on 29 October!
I walked in off the street as a tourist and I was made to feel like I was one of the boys. The food is great, the guinness is expertly poured, and the regulars love to talk and even sing a few songs if you're lucky. Just ask for Eamonn or Joe or Jack (the King) O'Reilly.
Meeting place for all the Boys Club gang on rugby match day..Great spot with good porter..What more do you want..!!
Eamonn himself is a fine host - the most genial Landlord i have had the fortune to meet!
