Description:
Music Bar.
Review:
Eamonn Dorans is situated in Temple Bar in Dublin and is a good place to catch live music at nights or listen to alternative / rock music during the day. As you walk in the door and up the stairs into the bar, the look and feel of the place is lively and chatty. The service by the friendly barstaff was good and although the pints were expensive, they tasted great. There is also a higher level where you can overlook those below. All in all this is a good place to sip pints in a friendly place with friends. It also has the added bonus of a pizza place in it to keep the peckish people happy.

Public Reviews
- Its like a home away from home. Great staff, music, atmosphere. The bouncers are brilliant.

- My boyfriend and I went to Dublin a year or so ago and spent most of our time in this pub - I loved it. The atmosphere was amazing, pints lovely, smoking area outside was so nice. It was just a nice dark atmospheric place with great music. LOVED IT!! Coming back in November.

- This is a place that can offer everything of what you would ask for and even more. Good music ala Rock, good beer, cozy smoking aerie, pub as well great concerts and dancing floor underneath. Also the chance to buy great pizza is an extra +. The staff members are very nice, as well this is a place you can chill with your friends or get to know new people. Everyone should get the chance to experince a night at Eamon Doran.

- This place can be really really good. The bouncers are a great laugh, dead friendly. The drink is in and around the same prices as the rest of the area. Nice bar, but the basement level isn't too impressive. Not a huge fan of the heavy rock style music there, but great beer garden and beautiful looking barmen!!! This place is a must, even if to just see the barmen!!!

- I was wondering if I'd find a pub without the pretention that seems to go with a lot of the Temple Bar pubs and stumbled into Eamonn's. Top beer, great music, nice and dark. I'm not bothered by filthy toilets - it sort of seems 'right'. No guys with bleached hair, tank tops and a steroid habit. No girls looking at you as if you're something they just stepped in. Great pub for fat lads like me!

- Nice looking guys in here and lots of people to talk to. But beware of the toilets, they are not exactly, nice.

- Amazingly for a pub in the heart of Temple Bar, it does have it's regulars. The people I've met there were usually friendly and it is the sort of place you can go out on your own and still have a good time. Good bands play there sometimes and you can expect to come across some interesting characters. It's not a posh pub and the place has real character, I just wish it wasn't so expensive!

- I love Eamonn Dorans!!! If you're into that rock/metal music you should definately check it out! They have some great bands playing! Tracy you are right though - the toilets are a bit dodgy!!!

- As said its a great place to hear live bands. But it's also a great place to play and meet other bands thanks to regular open mic sessions

- I love this pub. It's the best pub in Dublin if not the world. The bouncers are the soundest I've ever met and they make you feel welcome. The bar staff are fast and they remember your order. Plenty of beautiful ladies too.

- Upstairs a bar, downstairs a live music venue (admission charge). Bar is good: Atmosphere lively, pints satisfactory, well laid out, mixed crowd, seems to be avoided by the louts which is a definite plus. Music venue: Gigs can be a little odd at times but good for checking out new & upcoming talent. All in all 7/10.
