Dublin's Left Bank Bar is located on Anglesea Street and is the
sister pub of The Oliver St.John Gogartys. The atmosphere is
lively no doubt because of the latest chart music which does
been pumping onto the relatively small dance floor. It has a
late bar over the weekend. The pint is expensive. Service can
be slow due to the crowds. It is an ideal pub to have a 'party
night' without serious thinking to be done.
Good Pub. Square bar and has plenty of seats which is good if you've come through from Gogarty's. Same pint and food as Gogarty's. Worth checking out the toilets in the old bank vault.
After 36 hours on the road, my friend and I were in search of a lively pub where we could get food. We found that pub in Left Bank and a tremendous barman named Trevor!! Not only was he good looking, he was funny, made us welcome, and made the best cocktails in Dublin. Thanks to Trevor and the Left Bank Bar for the most fun anyone should be allowed to have on a Monday!
