- I went back to clontarf to my local only to find the dollmount house closed down it was a great place to drink and eat and I would like to thank the staff for all there service the provided over the years to me. I did manage to find one of the bar men in The Elphin Pub and the crack was the same and so I now know where to go thanks to Gerry the bar manager who looked after us and we will visit again - Gerry was a manager in the dollymount house. Thanks again.

- This pub is closed. Has been for almost a year. It is boarded up awaiting development of an apartment complex.

- Currently closed down, I hope it re-opens as it is the best pub in Dublin for food. Drink is great too. Well worth a sunday visit (if it hopefully re-opens)

- Great pub. More of a concentration on food in recent years. Really enjoyable lunchtime carvery and evening a la carte menu. Reasonably priced, very nice pint. Great spot for xmas eve and halloween night. Staff very friendly.

- Ok, this place does really good "pub grub" during the day, but it has quite a different atmosphere at night. The drinks are priced at average cost, and the place usually has an older crowd, but many underagers try their luck. Its good on Halloween and Xmas Eve. However, The lounge girls are rude and unfriendly, and seem to be there just to gain male attraction!! Its not a singles night girls!!!

- Every time we go home we head straight for the 'DI' as it's called (was Dollymount Inn). Kids love it. Great food, huge portions, good pint, good prices, friendly catering staff, good floor service. Oldfashioned begrudery chip-on-the -shoulder barmen- vintage Dublin malcontents!

- Service with a smile. Prices to keep you smiling. Food for every taste. I have recommended this 'House' to many of my English friends, and each one have come back with a 100% thumbs up. Each one mentioned how friendly and helpful all the staff were. The Guinness and food were exceptional. A twice a year loyal customer.

- : Not a very nice pub. The staff are very rude to the customers. One in particular "not from Ireland" who has a real attitude problem. He should get some manners. It would really bring the place up if he did. Other than that its a decent spot for a pint.

- Great pub and lovely food. A nice place except that the barmen are extremley unfriendly and condescending to their customers. I was there on a number of occasions and was treated badly. Never go if you like to be treated like a human being!!!

- Great place with a nice, cheap pint. The atmosphere is great too but I'm not too sure about some of the staff - the barmen are very touchy feely its gets very uncomfortable. Other than that i would definetly go back. my boyfriend hates going down because of the barmen but worth a visit
