Review: Dohney Nesbitts is located on Baggot Street at the Stephens Green end. From the outside it looks like a small pub but it opens out at the back into a lively open area. It stays open the regular pub hours and the pint is competitively priced. Service is good but it can get squashed around the bar area at times. Given it's location around the office heartland of Dublin it is ideal for a couple of scoops after work. On rugby days, the pub is packed as we found out to our cost one Saturday afternoon. The pub is a bit mazy and although it does have a wheelchair accessible toilet it is at the very back of the pub and requires a key (available at the bar). 2. This is what a real pub is like. If you want to create your own pub this is how you do it. However, you do need the people and D&H has lots of them. Another old Dublin pub (recently 'tidied up' with a new back bar) this place is a famous institution. See this place on Friday evening for the post work crowd. Suits everywhere. Don't let that put you off though. This is a real pub for real people who just want to have some beers and a good chat.
3. Nice area of Dublin with nice outside to the pub. Pity I could not use the disabled toilets because it was used as a store room. Bar staff were not interested when I asked to be allowed use it. Won't be going back.
4. This is one of Dublins finest pubs and indeed Dublin's finest drink here. Any night of the week you are bound to see a famous Irish personality there. Also with a business college and banks nearby there is always a healthy gathering of accountants there 'downing n drowning.' The crowd is mixed with never a sign of trouble and its a great spot to watch the sport. Highly recommended.
5. Went to Dohenys to meet a friend ages ago and now i make sure i go in whenever im near there, Nice bright pub, all the staff are always very friendly, one called belinda is one of, if not the best barperson ive ever come across. Pints are very nice too, big thumbs to this place.
6. The size of this pub was extended backwards a few years ago and has managed to retain much of what was good about it before. The front bar is good but not if you don’t like getting bumped into. Back bars are where most of the action is especially at the weekend. Good pints of Guinness here. Place is very busy on rugby weekends. Pub for the over 30s..
