- Formally known as Ennis's, this pub was completely overhauled about 6 months ago. It really is an amazing improvment. The furnishings are extremly comfortable, and the pub interior is stylish yet not over stated. There is a VIP room up stairs (bookable for parties) and a large bar on the ground floor. In the basement is an even bigger bar. Everything about this pub is top class, and it is certainly the classiest place in Balbriggan. The service is superior(very personal) and the clientel are mostly folks in there mid twenties to 50s. Music is easy listening and not too loud. The pints are excellent. Not a place to go on the pull, but an excellent place to take a girl on a date; or if your not single a night out with your girlfriend. Unknown Fact: Part of the main bar was a set used in the movie "The Godfather" and bought at auction in NYC by the owner Mr. Brown.
