Description:
Music with Late Bar.
Review:
Darkey Kellys Bar and Restaurant, named after the infamous lady of the night who plyed her trade in Copper Alley. Plenty of "Craic agus Ceoil" with Live Music on selected nights. The pub itself is very lively and even casual conversation is loud. This might have something to do with the wood finish and acoustics because of this, but everything seems a lot louder than it should be, which hampers quiet chats. The pub can fill up a bit and seats are at minimum but it does seem spacious for some reason. The pints are expensive enough and are alright. The service is cheerful, efficient and friendly. Should you go here and spend the night you'll end up enjoying the craic and having a good time.

Public Reviews
-This is my second home when I'm in Dublin which is a lot. Go there on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon between 4:30 and 8 when the lads are playing. Great pub songs. Excellent craic.

-Great afternoon out!! The music is traditional, the people are friendly and the drink is good. The last song from the band was the National Anthem and everyone stood up proudly. We thought that this was great even though at first we didnt know what was going on!!!! We will be back!!

- The price of Guinness/Smithwicks is currently euro 3.55, which is cheaper than many pubs in Temple Bar. One of the best Ballad sessions in Dublin takes place there every Sat & Sun afternoon. An enjoyable and laid back pub.

- This is a great little find. Band at weekends are fantastic. Been a few times now and always had good craic with the staff. Nice mix of young and old and cheap for temple bar area.
