Very friendly staff and excellent service. What I didnt know was that they have a little gem of a restaurant on the second floor where the food and service can only be described as fantastic. Very rarely can you find a restaurant these days that ticks all the boxes. small, cosy and grade A food. total attention to the customer and the bill doesnt leave a bitter aftertaste.
Great food here any day of the week. The bar staff are very quick and the pints are great quality and at a great price but it's great upstairs on Friday or Saturday nite for a young and lively crowd with great djs every weekend. Definitely guaranteed a great day or nite in this spotlessly clean fine pub. The beer garden is great too. Definitely 10/10
Courtneys is situated in the heart of Lucan village. It's interior would lead you to believe that it is aimed at the older generation yet once inside, you will notice that's not the case.
In the lounge, there is a nice friendly atmosphere where you can enjoy a pint in comfort. The
barstaff are friendly. Most importantly the drink is of a high standard and the price is
reasonable. If you're into a more lively atmosphere, upstairs is young and lively and an ideal
way to start your night off. Overall it has something for everybody. A must if you are in the area.
This pub is gloomy at times, but quite cheery at others when in
Lucan . With its first class staff and high quality beer garden, Courtneys is one of these old fasioned pubs that come alive with the good oul people of Lucan.Bar food served afer 5 in the evening. The thatch roof sets the scene for Lucan Village. Don't miss this pub.
