Description:
Music with Late Bar.
Review: Copperface Jacks is a youthful orientated late night pub situated on Harcourt Street in the centre of Dublin. Due it's popularity, it really fills up at night and gets very crowded with mainly young people out for a good laugh and a dance. The pints are okay but service is a bit slow, but this is mainly due to the crowds in the place. This is a good spot to finish off the night with friends or spend a night in, the music is as lively as the atmosphere and the people.

Public Reviews:
- On a recent trip to Dublin i was shown the bright lights of this place, on a wed night, along with Flannerys and i have to say i had the best night ever! (and i have had a few nights out in my time!) very friendly, very funny! definately worth leaving the tourist hotspot of temple bar!

- Absolutely class place, specialy on a Monday night, loads of men (not very attractive) so beer goggles will defo have to be on!! Great night out with the girls as guarnteed to meet and score random blokes. Girls watch your feet from the muppets on the dance floor! Great beer garden and drink is noraml price for Dublin. Hands up to the bouncers as they put up with an awful lot of horse ***** talk!! Overall great night but please be hammered going in or it is really a sight for sore eyes!

- I think this place is the best place to go for a bit of crack, yeah it gets very packed but every time I go I have the best nights out.

- Guaranteed a laugh at this place. However, queues can be a pain, so I recommend getting there around midnight after a few drinks. 10 euro entry, not too bad but definatley not the greatest. Drinks expensive, but this is Dublin afterall. Lots of older men on Friday/Saturday nights and they can be a bit creepy! Overall, a fab place to go to for a good night out. Overall, I'd rate it a 7/10.

- Sooo friendly. Lively atmosphere and v. crowded so can't help but chat! Music varied and good. Catch the queue early or prepare to freeze. Flannarys is good for drinks before as just around corner. Girls, a bit like shopping in TK-Maxx - you have to sift through alot of crap to find the gems but when you do, wooo! you do find them!! William you know who you are! Great partying. Will return x x x

- Deadly place!! You have to go locked but great place for the men!!!

- If cheesy chart music, animal prints and snogging random (not especially attractive) strangers (ideal for hen/stag parties) is your thing, you'll love it. Wasn't for me: but they did have GHD's in the ladies, which amused me no end - sweaty drunken women straightening their hair at 2am is a sight to behold...and surely an accident waiting to happen? If you're out for a laugh - and a guaranteed snog do try Copper Face Jacks.

- Well well, what can anyone say about Coppers?? The bouncers can be ok, a bit choosey sometimes however. Admission on average night is €8, not too steep. Late bar, always a plus. Bit dingy downstairs, but great music. Drinks are more or less the same as everywhere else around. Watch out for the older culchie men - can be extremely sleazy and pushy!!!!

- I really love going to CFJ. It is always a good night and can alway be guaranteed some bird. I would not bring my girlfriend there however as she would only get malled.

- This place is called among Dublin folk as 'Slappers'. It is reknowned for nurses and gardai (irish police force) and of course culchies (People from the countryside ie. outside Dublin). Generally speaking it draws its clientele from these classes and not many dubs openly admit to going there. (we all do of course, as it's a reasonably good pulling joint) Particularly on a Monday or Tuesday night as you are sure to get some nurses or cops enjoying themselves after finishing a shift.
It serves drink later then many other clubs, but it can be quite a wait to get served. To be honest there is a lot better clubs in the area. I'd rate it 4/10

- Admittedly my friend and I did go in with a group of gorgeous coppers (Garda, Met, NYPD etc top!) - but music is fantastic - can really shake your booty no problem. Atmosphere was excellent - very friendly. Go to Flannerys before as it is a bit off the beaten track.

-The best Club/Bar in Dublin.. Garanteed a great night with loads of drink and craic. Best night is a monday when all the hot guards are out on the town. starting off in Flannerys with the pub quizz and then down the lane to coppers.

-This place is really good, the music is excellent, fellas there are quite some talent. That's why I keep going back plus its easy to get into as the doormen are really nice especially one. Keep up the good work!!!!
Submitted by Jacqueline, Dublin

- Gets a good mix of people mostly 23+. Can get a bit too packed for my liking especially downstairs, where it can get too warm and sweaty. Lively without a doubt but a few niggly things (high priced beer and a sardine-like feeling) knock it back a bit.

- Quite a good wee club when it eventually gets full. It's a bit out of the way for tourists who prefer temple bar but anything for a drink I say!

- What a disappointment !! Don't go to this place unless you personally know the doorman! After queuing for 3/4 hour we are told we are not recognised so cannot go in.
Submitted by Belinda, Australia

- To call this place a meat market is an understatement, "Slappers" as its better known is like nowhere on earth, they squash in as many people as humanly possible & let them run riot, Great spot altogether if your from the country and you like going home soaking wet from the amount you have sweated, barstaff, well I have to say i feel for the poor lads!
Submitted by Joseph, Blanchardsown

- If you're up for a crazy, sweaty, late night out in a meat market, you've found the place!! We had a great time there. It's easy to skip the line if you ask nicely. Also recommend the Manhattan diner experience around the corner at 4am before you stumble home.

- What can I say? Great place, great atmosphere. Lot's of nice ladies too!
Submitted by Phil, Liverpool

- As already mentioned a boozer choc-full of convivial punters once the clock hits twelve or so and can be a bit slow getting an Arthur Scargle but sure isn't that all part of the banter?
Not the worst place in the world to go in the evenings for a few pints and some reasonably priced decent pub grub. Do yourself a favour go early, grub up, stay the night, resist the temptation to play with the traffic cones outside when you're all thrown out and round a good night off in the Taj Mahal Restaurant around the corner with a Chicken Vindaloo and a few bottles of Cobra beer as the sunlight begins to reappear through the window....
Submitted by Shane, Dublin

- Excellent, have been to Dublin twice this year and its been the best nights out, both times ended up in Copper Face Jacks due to its great atmosphere. Met some very nice Irish men there too!
