Description:
Casual with Late Bar.
Review:
Situated on Dame Street, Brogans is centrally located as a start or a finish to a good night out. The atmosphere is laid back with the walls adorned with Guinness memrobilia and the wood finish adding to it's cosy nature. Brogans is open the regular pub hours during the week and at the weekend. Pricing is typical of the prices in the area. The staff are friendly, service is quick and the Guinness is one of the best in Dublin (says Fred). There is also a downstairs area which although very small, plays an eclectic mix of music and can be a great laugh.

- Probably one of the best dublin pubs that i,ve had the pleasure of drinking in, the place may be hot but the staff are hotter girls if your looking for a good night then Brogans is the place to be.

- One of the most enjoyable, drunken, funny and best nights during my short stay in Dublin were spent in Brogan's. The bartender was awesome! My compliments, the car bombs served were unbeatable.(now if only i could get them to North America...) He was also hilarious and friendly. the atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable, perfect for getting lushed... Me and my friends had an amazing craic!!!

- Great guinness & atmosphere. The barman will take great delight in ripping it out of you if you give him a chance.

- What can i say bad about this pub apsolutely nothing, we in the Order of Malta head for pints here before our annual Kevin Doyle Elvis Trip in the Olympia,Pints are great, very reasonable for centre of town, bar staff are sound, real cosy pub that the staff make you feel as if they have known you for years!! people are missing out if they dont visit this pub!! next door to the Olympia, the Carlsberg is also great for town!!

- Traditional pub which looks like it's not been changed or dusted for years. Has a mixture of locals and passing shoppers and probably gets theatre goers due to it's proximity to the Olympia.

- Brogan's Bar appears just like many of the local pubs in Dublin. Just on the outside edge of the Temple Bar area, it sees less of the tourists and more of the locals so you'll get a little more contact with some of Dublin's residents. Brogan's bar pays more attention to the beer then their appearance but don't be scared off by a little neglect inside. Once you're inside you'll find a quick and friendly staff and a comfortable place to enjoy a few good pints.

- Very popular with the pre and after show folk visiting the next door Olympia. But for me it is a gem of a pub in an area where bulls*** "themed" pubs are two a penny. Pint of Guinness is second to none, good craic and best of all A REAL PUB. Even has a youth club downstairs on Fridays and Saturdays with jukebox orchaestrated by barman/DJ Donny. My only complaint is the jukebox needs more Clash!!!!

- On New Year's Eve(2004/5)I had a blast here! Happening little pub, but not over-crowded. Staff is very friendly and can make superb drinks. I especially liked the "Butterball" shots and Bailey's/brandy mixed drink. You can get as familiar with the staff as you wish. They will even join you on the dance floor. I wish I had a "butterball" shot now to toast to the pub that gave me a New Year's to remember! Thanks!

- Awesome pub in the heart of Dublin. The staff is friendly and can often be seen engaging in conversation with the patrons. The Guinness is the best in town, and the bartenders know how to make any drink you ask of them. Celebrating New Years Eve 2005 was a once in a life time experience. Next time you are there, ask the female bartender with long brown hair to make you a Butterball shot. It's excellent! Also say HI to the rest of the staff, they will treat you like family.
