Tucked away besides the grand entrance to the Powerscourt Townhouse Shopping Centre, Ba Mizo rubs shoulders with some of the swankiest bars in town. William street South has established itself as one of the coolest streets in Dublin and Ba Mizo is its jewel in the crown. Follow the designer junkies downstairs into the intimate lobby area where a central square bar dominates proceedings and ample barstools hug the shadows in all four corners. A perfect setting for that illicit rendezvous or a spot of first date nocturnal naughtiness. Exit the lobby bar by the small staircase to the left to reveal a larger more airy lounge. Minimalist decor and cool brickwork still dominate surroundings but this second, more spacious bar, is decidedly more upbeat and funlovin'.
