Description:
Casual Pub.
Review:
Arc Bar is situated at the Liffey Valley Centre in Dublin. This makes it ideal for a couple of pints after going shopping or while waiting for someone who still is shopping, especially if you're not driving. We went down to it on a Saturday afternoon to check it out and watch the Ireland v Scotland Rugby game. The place itself, is quite big covering three floors and the entire place is spotless. Incidentally on the door, it says it's for over 23's and neat dress is essential. We sat at the bar watching the game on one of the many digitial TVs, they're everywhere you look. The service we recieved from the barstaff truly was excellent though whether this was because it was relatively empty could be a factor but I did get the impression of high standards throughout my stay. The pints were nice and were a lot cheaper than I thought they would be. All said, quite a cool spot for casual drinks with friends.

Public Reviews:
- Quiet during the day well busy at the weekend. We stayed at the Clarion Liffey Hotel which was great and the Arc was the closest bar. Friendly and cool but not cheap. Would recommend.

- I have found the Arc to suit both partygoers and those who enjoy a casual drink. It can be quite empty during the week which would ensure prompt service for those thirsty drinkers, but with a late liquor license (up to 2AM on Fridays and Saturdays) and a wide range of cocktails and beers (domestic & foreign)it can be a great place for those who want a late night without the hassle of queueing for taxis in the city centre. Even when full, the staff are friendly and their customer service can't be doubted. Of the many times I have frequented the establishment I have never seen any trouble as the bouncers are usually very observant. Now that Tony D of FM104 fame has begun Friday night R&B sessions, this promises to make Arc one of the premier pubs in the West Dublin area.

- This pub is amazing to look at. The design is quite like Joels. Very spacey. It covers 3 floors. It's a good pub 4 just havin a few quite drinks. The place is normally very quiet. The restaurant is lovely. Food is excellent but the place doesn't really have an atmosphere.
